Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seeds are tiny, bitter seeds of the herb fenugreek. Also, the leaf of this plant is used as a vegetable. They exhibit a strong aromatic flavor.

Benefits:

Fenugreek seeds are a rich source of minerals, vitamins, and excellent sources of minerals like copper, potassium, calcium, iron, selenium, zinc, and magnesium. It is also rich in vitamin B6, folic acid, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin A, and vitamin C.

Fenugreek may help in the following:

  • One teaspoon of fenugreek seeds mixed with one glass of watered buttermilk may help relieve diarrhea.
  • For constipation, mix one tablespoon of fenugreek seeds, a few raisins, and one cup of water. Soak overnight and drink it on an empty stomach.
