Kiwi Dessert Squares
Ingredients
- 1.5–2 cups wheat flour
- 1.5 cups kiwi puree (8–10 kiwis)
- 1/4 cup condensed milk
- 2–3 tbsp ghee
- 1 tbsp raisins
- 2 tbsp broken cashews
- 1 drop green food color
Directions
- Wash and peel the kiwis. Blend them into a smooth puree and strain through a sieve if needed.
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add the wheat flour and roast over low to medium heat until fragrant.
- Add the kiwi puree and condensed milk. Sauté over medium heat for at least 10 minutes, or until the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan.
- Heat the remaining ghee and roast the cashews and raisins. Add them to the kiwi mixture.
- Mix well and switch off the heat.
- Pour the mixture into a greased pan and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Cut into squares and serve.
- Almond flour can be used as a substitute for the wheat flour.
