Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour (I use Sujata Chakki Atta)
  • 1 avocado
  • ¼ cup dill
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon 5 spice
  • ½ cup sweet potato, cooked, mashed
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for the griddle

Directions

  • In a large bowl mix all the ingredient. Add enough water to make a stiff dough. Continue to knead until it is soft.
  • The dough should be non-sticky, but soft.
  • Tuck the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Make into lemon size balls, roll it out into triangles or round.
  • If doing a triangle, roll it out into a 5 inch circle, fold it into half, fold again into quarter – it forms a triangle. Roll this out to 1/8 inch thick chapati.
  • Cook on a heated griddle, spray some oil and let it cook until done on both sides.
